I have a tune with the transbrake feature but I have a few questions about it. I tried it out earlier today for the first time but on the street just experimenting... It does seem relatively useless for the street I suppose because traction isnt good enough to hook off a tbrake launch -atleast with stock tires.
Heres what I know :
To activate : hold left paddle, hold right paddle, hold left foot on brake, right foot jab the throttle, let off brake with the left foot. At this point I am not sure what % throttle to give it... 100%? 50%? I think it will hold at around 3k rpm. Also while its in this state you can click the left paddle to bump forward a bit. Release right paddle to launch.
Takes a bit of practice to master it since its a lot of stuff to do. I was not sure what percent throttle to give it while the tbrake was holding so I didnt try it much since I didnt want to mess anything up. I also notice the trans heats up fast if you use this, what would you guys say the max safe trans temp is? I was trying to stay under 200 but even without using the Tbrake ive got 205 or so while driving hard.
Anyone have any tips or advice? Thanks.
