HP Track Alignment

For those HP owners tracking their cars, are you using/starting off with the recommended alignment settings. Please share what you have or haven’t done.

Got mine back from the shop earlier in the month for a HPDE next month….Went with Ford’s recommendation in the supplement as a starting point.

Gal who did the alignment said that Ford specs pretty much max out the camber plates up front. According to some threads here, -3 degrees up front yields better handling, but you have to go after market camber plates. (I believe the Mach maxes around -2.3)

-3 front, zero toe
-2 rear, 0.24 degrees total toe in

 

[Optimum Performance]

Depends on the tire Temps. Arbitary numbers mean zero. When we did the IMSA test at Sebring for the new Michelins, much less camber was required.
