Im thinking of adding kooks LT headers to my wife's 24 GT. She has a stage 2 Whipple and the Borla Stype non active catback with quad tips. I understand headers are a good idea over the stock cats with the SC but didn't do it with the original install so maybe back tracking. Are Koos long tube my best option with her setup?

Happy with my Kooks but not a fan of how the car sounds with them and an X pipe. Very loud and a weird trumpety sound.

I'd put a center resonator of some sort on it

I put this resonated x- pipe on my 2016 GT. It also long tube headers and high flow cats.

Here's how it sounds with a full 3 inch exhaust:

This is the 2.5 inch version I used before I went with the 3 inch version.

It will be pretty loud with that catback. Mine are loud with a stock active exhaust.

They are really nice though, perfect fitment. Try to re-use as many studs as you can, I've had one bolt back out so far. The greencats will not pass emissions if you have it, but they will keep the smell down nicely.

Do pay attention to the connection pipes, I used a level to make sure they were straight and didn't eat into ground clearance too much.

Fitment and quality is always fantastic with Kooks sound will be more geared towards your cat back as all headers will be similar in sound. Kooks are currently on sale for Black Friday here at Beefcake racing let me know if I can help out

Yes I think that’s the only option available now, you can buy the catless connection pipes but I don’t think they sell them as a kit any more.
