What did you guys use for the pin to hold the plunger in place in step 4 of the reassembly?

Maybe now, maybe never. General consensus is any time you go forced induction/nitrous. But, everyone's got a different opinion on this. Some people are running crazy hp and never have any problems.

Need a bit of help here.

I removed the timing chains as per ford instructions (the ones attached to this thread)

It now time to reassemble... When i put the LH timing chain on and line up the colored link with the LH VCT, the 2nd coloured link does not line up with the timing mark on the crankshaft sprocket.

Any thoughts on what to do now?

I should mention the keyway is still at 5 o'clock and has not moved since disassembly.
