I don't have an S550 anymore. They won't fit my S197. They are in really nice condition. $50 shipped if I don't have Paypal fees. Otherwise, $55 shipped. Has all the hardware and is missing absolutely nothing.
Came out of my '15 Kenne Bell GT and I don't need it anymore. Obviously it's locked to Lund Racing. When you buy a tune from them, they will unlock it for you. You can ping Johnny Nardi of Lund Racing to confirm this. $330 shipped or $340 shipped if I have to pay the Paypal fees.
Used about 6 months. Nothing wrong with it. $100 shipped if I don't have Paypal fees.. This is hardwired to max as most tuners recommend(no vacuum switch).
So, the option is there when I upload my tune...but the tire size never seems to take. Speedo is still off and pulling vehicle info w/ the SCT after the tune upload reveals the unchanged/stock value. Was talking with Lund and they said that it might not be possible on a 15 because of the way...
Yea, no worries. Jon is a good guy and has always done me right. I know it sucks to wait 10 days when you're antsy to try out some new shit...but...it is what it is :).
Jon II is busy as hell. He posted something on FB the other day saying they were undergoing some infrastructure changes. Also, some of his people are on vacation. That said, it has usually been MUCH faster than 10 days for me(many many revisions over the years).
If anyone is still folllowing this thread, I have added Grdian dash cams to both mine and my wife's car based on Jeffola's posts. They are great for the money. The video and audio are outstanding. Just use a tap connector in the rear view mirror.
So, I asked Lund this question:
Hi Jon. There is a big thread on M6G right now about how S550s don't accurately read IAT2s due to something in the tune/transfer function. I just had a couple of questions relating to this.
1. If inaccurate, how does the tune know when to pull timing?
2. With...
That's really interesting. I've read some posts about some tunes not having protection(pull timing) when IATs get too high. Seems like that would be an issue even with a tune that had built in protection. I guess maybe they pull timing at a much lower point to allow for a margin of error in...
I'm assuming the KB kit reads correctly. As part of the install, the IAT1 wire is disconnected and rewired up to the IAT2 temp sensor in the manifold. So, you effectively get IAT2 in the dash pod but no IAT1 anymore.
It would seem that temps get exponentially worse after a certain point...
It is about 95-97 degrees right now. Running 30% with water wetter through the blower. It just creeps up the and I can't get rid of it once it sets in.
