How to reset mpg after track day?

I use Trip 1 a lot. I typically reset it at the gas pump.

On track I get 5.5mpg. Even though I reset Trip 1 at fill-up after track day, the miles to empty still leans on the low track mpg instead of starting fresh. So I could have a half tank and the car will think I have 50 miles to empty.

Can I get it to start fresh when back to daily driving and calculate the mpg properly?

I do believe the estimated miles till empty is just whatever your average MPG is and doesn't stick with the trip A/B, or at least, in my Mach 1 it seems to just be overall/global setting. You'd have to reset your avg MPG setting on that specific screen. Although mine does have the full digital dash as well.
