How to remove interior door piece?

Hi all,
I was hoping someone could tell me the proper way to remove the silver handle piece of the door.. I want to take it off to wrap it.

Trim removal tool up by the switches and work your way back to remove the switch panel, the "metal"piece I believe is one piece with the door


But to remove the whole panel is a screw behind a cover in the door handle, a screw under the switch plate, 2 screws in the bottom

And then pull and pray you don't break the clips

Did you ever get it out? Mine has a scratch/nick in it (pretty sure since at delivery but I can't prove since I didn't notice it at first). Wondering how hard it would be to replace if they don't fix it.
