How soft as a kittens belly is the GT350 for a daily driver?

For long drives this car makes me miss my old BMW M5 lol but its not awful. the steering can be tiring on the rough roads where I am as your pulled all over the place
For long drives, have you tried putting the steering on comfort mode? You don't feel the tramlining as bad.

Interesting. I forgot it had other modes. First thing I do when I start the car is double click with my right thumb to engage sport mode. :)

If there's an engine that deserves a 7 speed manual, it's this one. A 4.10 and a 6th of .87 would be awesome followed a 7th with the factory .63 or whatever 6th gear is. That's 185MPH top speed too assuming the car doesn't lose to aerodynamics. But weight...

It’s actually good in the rain. The downforce from the aero really helps out. Rain mode does well. Sport mode in the rain can get tricky though.
Not to be a smartass, but we have "rain mode"???

i pretty much only drive my car in comfort mode with the suspension in normal mode....I dont have the magnet ride suspension though so maybe thats why my ride is so much more rough on the roads here.

I also have a 2016 Base GT350. One thing that also helped with tramlining is installing this:

Same here, I use to have it in comfort mode all the time. Now however, I leave it in sport mode and have just gotten use to it, but if I was going on a long drive or just want to drive one handed on the freeway, I'll put it in comfort.

I just spent a couple of days driving my '98 M3. Compared to that (which is hardly a hard core race car) the Shelby has: a light clutch, an awesome direct easy shifter, an amazing hill hold clutch feature, good suspension comfort in regular mode--all of which contribute to the ease of daily driving.

As penance......you must read the whole User Manual and be prepared to answer a written test. Closed book, no notes allowed.

heh, 220, 221

hill hold sounds nice. I'd definitely get the "magnet ride."

Thanks, everybody!
