The actual fact is people are thinking In 2006 dollars. 5k for stripes would have been expensive but would have gotten a pass. Dollars are extremely small now, but people still think a 6 figure income means you've made it. Not even close!

I'm looking at challenger t/a 6 speed cars now. Cloth seats, lighter than the mustang, more comfortable, 392 cubic inches, 500/500 at the tires with a cam and headers...... 50 grand.
