One thing I love about my mustang is when I moved Recently I was able to fold down the back seats and carry a ton of stuff

Also I can fit my road bike in there

I want a car that can go 0-60 in 3.5 seconds or less, but the only options seem to be German cars that are much more expensive to buy and maintain than the c8 while being slower, but the c8 couldn’t carry my bike or Much stuff

Any other options? Or is the mustang best for me?

If you want 3.5 seconds 0-60 on non-prepped dry roads, I think you need mid engine, AWD or electric.

Maybe buy a Tesla? They can be practical for daily. But you will lose a lot of money on any EV in resale.

Shopping for a coyote powered Mustang GT.
Seems I recall reading a daily driver C8 online mag review(car and driver, Motor Trend maybe) in your part of the country, they were surprised at how well it handles snowy conditions.

Maybe add some sort of trail hitch/bike carrier?

Anything is possible. Internet searches are your friend.

Roof rack should address your storage transport needs on he C8 but do you really want to deal with the hassle? I like the supercharged option. The extra space inside the mustang is valuable for additional passengers and storage with seats folded. I never tried it but you may be able to lay down in the back of the mustang with the seats folded.

If you're 5.5 maybe. Or just lay out on the grass next to your car or rest stop table/bench

The c8 is great, i know theres lots of c8 haters here…. Blah blah…

There is a fair amount of room up front in the frunk, some room in the back - although it gets warm back there… i dont feel id use it as my only car…. I like to have a back seat. There is not much room in the cabin, i mean it wraps around you so nice, but i find there is no place for me to even keep my hands when driving…. And there is minimal room for sunglasses and just everyday junk you might accrue

i love the c8 but its too nice to be a dd, plus being in maine… winter….out of the question here

and now a stop-sale because of defective seat-belt tensioners. Fun!

There’s a guy here in the Chicago burbs that dailies his C8 year round. Puts snow tires on it and everything. Also puts a bike rack and ski rack on it (the suction cup racks).
