Im scared about what my 3rd mustang a 2015 gt pp will cost in tickets.

Currently I am 27 with 1 DUI and 6 speeding tickets in the last 3 years, yes my license has been suspended 4 times. Over 12 speeding tickets, few hit and runs and i think 6 (maybe more) recorded accidents in the last 10 years (never hurt anybody) and California DMV labels me a "negligent driver"! But my 06 f150 4x4 supercrew only costs about 225 per month and I was quoted 270 for the new GT. Steep yes but totally worth all the fun Ive had (y'all sound like quite boring drivers IMHO). Full coverage, 500 deductible thru titan.

Go on live a little

Yes because a DUI and a "few" hit and runs make you an exciting driver.

I would like to apologize for being the reason that this thread has become derailed. For perspective I felt it was necessary to share my record, location, coverage and provider but clearly I attracted all the TROLLS who have contributed nothing of value to this thread. Feel free to make as many off topic(derogatory) comments as you trolls would like about me or my post because it doesn't bother me. All it does is add pages of pointless insults to what was an informative thread on insurance cost and coverage. Thank you haters for sharing your creative insults and a special thanks to those who actually posted about how much their insurance costs and their coverage. Stay classy 6gmustang.com

I don't think it's trolling to say that your driving history and reckless behavior makes it seem like you should never drive again. I doubt you're going to make friends with anyone here.

You made your bed, prepare to lay in it. Its people like you why the rest of us law-abiding citizens have to pay for higher insurance premiums, and its people like you that can potentially hurt yourself or other people due to your negligent actions. Im not surprised you got your license revoked 4 times, hell if i was the judge i would have taken it away for life. But, i guess in your own little world if everyone else doesnt have countless speeding tickets, accidents or DUI's on their record then by your definition we are all "boring drivers." So yeah, go have your "fun" in a brand new Mustang and see how much speeding tickets you get in that. And who would want to insure you and take that risk is beyond me.

Good luck in life.

Wow. You guys are paying huge premiums. I have state farm. $57.27 / mo (687 per year) on a 15 GT premium. I'm 43...maybe that's the reason why. 57/mo is the highest we have ever paid on a car. We live in central IL. Have 7 vehicles insured with them, all full cov or, as in the case of some classic cars, agreed value.

Someone made the comment they expect the premium to go up in 6 months....why would it? Mine start "high" and gradually decrease until they hit some sort of level for the car.
