After installing a 1" drop on my 2108 GT, I did everything to get the front to settle to 1.1" as advertised, but only got 1/2" drop. So, I elevated the rear 1/2" to level the car. I am currently running 265/40R19 tires, and do like them, but htey are harder to come by. The 275/40R19 seems much more common for all season, and likewise the 285?35R19.

If I was to decide to try 275/40R19, is there anyone who has done this? I've read that trying to run 275/40R19 in the front after a drop is problematic with a lotof rubbing. Has anyone done this successfully? Or, should I just consider the 285/35R19 instead?

You’ll be fine so long as your wheels don’t have an awkward backspacing.

I run 275/35/20 front tires with a 1.0” drop and have no issues. There’s only a 0.1” difference in height between what you’re considering and what I use; there’s also little variance on width (brand specific).
