I have 245/45r19 on the front on 9 inch rims and 275/40r19 on 10 inch rims on the rear. Tire diameters are nearly the same at 27.7 I am tempted to replace the rears with 285/35r19s. They would be 26.8 inch diameter vs. 27.7 for the front tires. Do you think that difference would be noticeable and look goofy? I like the idea of a bit more width and effectively gearing down a bit. What do you think?

I am running the 285/35 in the front. Changed out the 235/50 so my original height was only 27.3". I have 345/30 on the rear which stayed at the original height and you can tell a bit of a difference so it might be even more noticeable on your setup. I'm on BMR min drop springs if that makes a difference.

I personally don't mind but I know it bothers some people.

I decided to go with 285/35r19s on the back and 245/40r19s on the front. That way, all 4 are nearly the same diameter and just be 1.5% shorter than what came on the car. I think that will look fine and not impact the overall gearing very much.
