I bought My 2016 GT350 about an hour after it was delivered to the Dealer in Apopka, Florida in Dec. 2015. (I was waiting for it)
This car had (0) options with it, (except the 1300 gas guzzler tax)
Being I spent 14 years as a Ford Registered Technician, I wanted to do any/all work on this car myself. Well, I almost did, except for the Engine oil-cooler line Recall under warranty.
I performed over 28 mods on this car through the last 7+ years, some were more challenging than others but always fun/exciting.
Now with 32,000 miles it is still very powerful with no issues.
I'm not sure anyone could persuade me to part with my weekend-driver.

My car is a gift from God. Given to me by some guys I went to church with. They all felt prompted by God to get me a Mustang. I got to choose the colour. I've been a Mustang fan for as long as I can remember, so to own one is a dream come true. It's a 2018 GT picked it up November 2018 . I've done 80k klm and probably will have it forever.

2016 shadow black gt still have it 16,983 original miles. Heavily modified.

Rhetorical question ... Why did you "heavily modify" your Mustang if you don't drive it?
Many moons ago, I remember a group conversation w/a bunch of 'car guys' & the one 'older sage' said that buying a nice car (new or used) & not driving it is like marrying a hooker & sleeping in separate bedrooms!!! Just sayin' ...
Just a toy for me. Got storm damage and went through 2 years of he'll trying to get it fixed right!!! I did all the mechanical work myself.

Nice shot. If I didn't know better, I would say you are on Highway 1 just south of Bixby Bridge. :sunglasses: I have done that drive many, many times. And every time I see something 'new'. The last time I drove it was in my '98 GT & it was the 1st time I ever drove it north from Malibu all the way up to Washington state. My next time up will be in the 2019 GT. :like:

Correct! Its been closed from the south section 5 miles south of big sur due to landslides. Check this site before you go. https://www.bigsurcalifornia.org/highway_conditions.html

I went from Los Angeles, but took the 33 all the way up to 198 and west to G-16 and South on the 1 from Carmel. Much more fun than 5 or 101. But usually when the 1 is open, 101 to SLO and 1 North to SF is the Jam.

I remember when the larger one went a few years back. It used to be CalTrans would merely push everything into the ocean, fix the road & put up a larger barrier to keep the dirt from the hillside from blocking Hwy 1. THEN the EPA said you could no longer push asphalt & dirt into the ocean. And it's been what? Almost four (4) years now? And they are still working on it.

I have driven a good portion of 101. Actually I kinda like it. Makes me think what driving up thru 'old' CA was before I-5 ... just a simple highway connecting a lot of friendly CA towns. Where you could get real apple pie from a no-chain restaurant. Good times.

My one owner 2019 GT350 that I ordered new:

Here is the MSRP sticker:

2019GT350MSRP.jpg

It was $60K with taxes.

It has new tires on it thanks to Discount Tire (a former member here). It has 6K+ miles on it.

Bought new August 2018- just turned over 20k miles- would have at least twice that many miles if COVID hadn't changed me from an in-office commuter to working from home.

Cruising around the nearby lakes is how I let go of those high-stress frustrating work days...no plans to sell.

Purchased December 30, 2019.
Set the trip before I left the dealership.
Now I have 20,420 miles on it.
No real problems, shifter recall.
Driver side puddle lamp fell out.
I do all of my own work & maintenance on it, except for the warranty/recall stuff.
My beautiful bride still doesn’t really like that Ruby Redhead,
Possibly because it was one of those “Better to beg for forgiveness than ask for permission” purchases…
Guess that you could say that I popped the cherry on this one

I bought mine new but since have sold it.
I was wondering how many original owners are left?
Plan to keep mine for quite a while.

I ordered my GT and received it in March 2015. I do all the maintenance and she currently has 49,000 miles on the odometer. I have thought about trading her in at some point but my wife and daughter say no.

I took this picture recently to show how in PA you can wash your car while it's sunny, then 30 minutes later it's raining.
