If you waited three months for wheels only to be told it would be longer due to manufacturer lagging on orders what would you do? I don't want to bus roll just advice. Thanks

You need to be a little more specific.

Like it says. If you ordered a set of wheels and the seller said they would take three months to get here and then the three months is up and they haven't been made and the seller now says the manufacturer is lagging and there is no real timeline what would you do? Wait, ask for your money back, ask for the manufacturer to offer another choice?

Ok, what I would do isn't necessarily what you would do.

For me, it'd depend on are the wheels custom made, are others getting their wheels, are these the only wheels I want, can I get something else? And once I knew those things, then I'd decide if I want to continue to wait, or ask for a refund.

But you might decide something else...when you have all those factors.

If its paid in full, I would pull the money out ASAP. If its just a deposit, I would be less concerned. But I would probably just find something I like thats in stock or less than 2 weeks wait.

Thought this was a NSFW topic.. but I'd pull out asap if the manufacture is lagging and no definite timeline.

Depends on a lot of things.

If it's something custom made and made to order, and you really want it... then you just gotta wait.

If it's basically a preorder for something that's going to be "mass" produced and sold to the public, then personally, I'd ask for a refund and purchase when it's readily available. I did exactly that, when I originally purchased my koni shocks. There was no definitive time table on when they were going to be released, and every month they were getting pushed back another month. So I ended up refunding those, using the funds for something else, and then buying them when they were readily available.

Wheels are a little different. They usually take a bit of time. But I'd definitely would be wary if you paid in full already.

If I was ordering Volks or Works that were coming from Japan then yes I know it's worth the wait, but if they are just your normal wheels... then I would get my $ back.
