My Build started March 9th. The window sticker says Blend Date March 17th. It's still not done! How long does it take to build a frigging car?

What took so long?My car was built on the blend date (March 1st 2019).
My shipping date changed more times than I can count. It shipped 3 months later! I waited a total of 8 months to get my car. Ordered it in the beginning of Jan and drove home in Aug. I relate to everyone’s frustration. By the time I got my car I needed to talk to Doctor Phil!
Never got a reason from Ford or the dealer. I wasn’t the only one in 2019 that took 8 months to get a car. There many of us! There were rumors of shortage of stripes, waiting for steering wheels, shifter replacements etc...etc! No information from Ford at all. Now that I have the car I’m extremely happy with it. When I ordered it, I never imagined it would take that long. It would of been nice if Ford was up front and informed dealers and customers what was going on! I’m really looking forward to seeing pictures of everyones new Mach 1s when they arrive! Nothing like the feeling of driving a new car home for the first time! What took so long?
it's not necessarily. Ford IT is notoriously unreliable and/or laggy with their database updates. I think I remember seeing somewhere that it only takes about 4hrs from start to finish. But that's not including chassis weld, prep, paint. Just final assembly. That's crazy, man. What's taking mine so long?
