It's freezing. One thing I learned Having lived in Florida most of my life is that lack of use in the air conditioning is way worse than anything you can do it.

Love verts more than performance

Then why exactly did you get a convertible? Doesn't that added weight hurt performance
My present 2015 vert was bought to be used as a football tailgating vehicle. It now has my school's Purple and Gold Leather seats and my vanity palte reads "Eye of the Tiger". Yea, I'm an LSU Tiger nut. My 2013 GT vert had all the Ford Performance Mods and was very quick...or should I say fast for this Old Dufus. I'm waiting for a new Mustang Mach I to come out. Everyone here missed my point that I wished Ford was more keen on performance enhancements and less concerned with marketing convenience stuff. Also did no one understand the Einstein quote I posted? And for you argumentative fellas, I'll further "chumn the waters" by saying that I'm fairly sure that the mechanical controls on the base AC will last longer and be more "trouble free" than the Auto/Touchscreen Alladin. My big screen on my 2013 GT was total crap...many trips to Ford to "try to fix". Simple is better at least for me.

What's not to love? How about the cost?:eyebulge: How about your time taking the car back to Ford when the system malfunctions or needs upgrades? How about all the weight added to a performance car hurting actually performance?:paddle: How about the cost of your time "to master" all the Auto and connectivity bull crap? And to strike my last blow/rant  let's remember what Albert Einstein said, "Everything should be made as simple as possible, but not simpler"! Seat coolers my ass!:frusty:
that's harsh Bro! Did you miss leg day or something? :D

Technology adds very little weight compared to all the safety equipment because there are too many stupid people out there. And seat coolers should do just that!

I understand what you say about being more performance focused but keep in mind ford is trying to make money and compete for market share. Today there is a much larger market for bells and whistles than raw horse power. Personally I am happy with the balance of power and technology and I love driving every chance I get.

What I'm saying Dudes about the AC is the KISS...KEEP IT SIMPLE STUPID. How many posts here of people complaining about their wonderful "optional equipment" not working. One OP was practically crying about his "My Little Pony puddle lights" not working. And I'm not leaving the Mustang Family for Camaro or Prius as someone suggested... riding for this brand and ponies for all these 50 years. I'm on my 10th Mustang. What I'm bitching about is that Ford seems to want to give us "Fluff"...just when I really want a new Mach I

How many people are NOT complaining about their wonderful optional equipment?

If I had to do it all over again...I wouldn't change any 'fluff' options that I have.

I totally get that, hence why I went base with my ecoboost.

I was totally bummed at how Ford had put me in the "pretzel hold" when I tried to build my Mustang the way I wanted. I really wanted the "BLISS" system as a safety item but didn't want all the other items "packaged" with it. A lot of my frustration demonstrated on this thread stems from my dislike of Ford's marketing tactics. I guess I just long for the old days when you could pick the options that you desired individually. I know the marketing rationale for the bundles...I just don't like it. Anyone know how Mercedes can still do this?

Now that is funny:lol::lol::lol: On my 2013 GT vert, I couldn't make my fully automatic whiz bang climate system work...but the funny thing is, no one at two Ford dealerships could work it either. Any of you Dudes experience a central Texas summer of 100* days with a climate control that turned the heater on when you needed the AC on? My 2015 base AC mechanical controls work perfectly. I only thought that I needed an Automatic Climate Control.

What's your ambient temperature in Germany?
When I picked up the 'stang temps were 37-40 C (98-104 F) with high humidity, I stopped for gas and was sweating instantly. Got in the car turned the ac to full and drove off. A few minutes later and I was shivering with a monster headache! I learned to keep it off high that day!

Lately the temps have let off alot, 80s mostly with alot of rain.

Forty to fifty years ago, American car manufacturers used to brag how much more efficient American A/C compressors were compared to European nameplates. Sounds like for your Mustang in Germany she's living up to her heritage.;) Please let us know what type of reception your Stang is getting in Germany. You must have one of the very first.
