I know what you mean. The Ruby Red was always our first choice with Magnetic running a "very" close second. We also happened to see a Ruby Red GT last week as we were passing a neighboring Ford dealer. Needless to say, we made a quick U-Turn to check it out. The color on the internet Ford site or in the various photos we've seen doesn't do it justice. It's even more impressive in person! So much so that we couldn't help stroking the paint with our hands, lol. :D
I thought I had ruled Ruby Red out until I saw these pics from 15GTstang. :frusty:

If that doesn't make anyone rethink it, I don't know what will!

Color is not important for me. Since I only buy black cars.
no headaches and no stress

Fate intervened and I met Qwkynuf in person today. I got to check out his Ruby Red GT. OMG that alone practically derailed my "Magnetic is for me" thinking! What a GORGEOUS color! His ride looks awesome, especially with the 50 Year Appearance Package. Well worth the extra cost. Beautiful color and definitely worthy of consideration. By the time I am ready to take delivery, I'll be over my red Subie, so I could be ready for a new RED car. ;)
It was nice to meet you - and a crazy weird coincidence, too! I appreciate the kind words about my car. I drive so much, I have to love my car - and I seriously love this one!

first car = black
second car = black
third car = red
fourth car = black
fifth car = gray
sixth car = gray
seventh car = dark gray

I was tired of black/gray and wanted something different. I chose white. I went with my guts and never looked back. Oxford white looks stunning clean on the mustang!

After my last black car, I swore my next black car would have to be a hearse!

I went Magnetic on my Ecoboost, but I gotta say that Ruby Red is a 1A color for me.

I have Guard , which I like. Close to British Racing Green
However Ruby Red looks very lush, almost mauve. Did I make a mistake?

For me, it came down to Guard or Ruby Red. Guard is a great color, Martin. We shouldn't be second guessing ourselves. It'll drive us insane.

Guard is pretty cool, but I've gotta tell you, a fellow M6G member shows up where I work occasionally and I've got to literally tear myself away from his car. The color is warm and inviting. Very classy. And it's got an allure that took me by surprise, because I'm coming out of a deep red car. Ruby Red is pretty amazing. I've even considered throwing caution to the wind and getting back into another red car after seeing this puppy in person.

It's subjective...period...personal....I like blondes...you like ???? Bottom line..it's what makes us happy.
I like 'em all; blondes, brunettes, red-heads... Just like these cars - all the colors look good. Problem is deciding which one to take home.

Isn't this simply a matter of personal taste and what makes you happy? Everyone will have similar and different reasons why a certain color is "good" or "not so good." How can anyone answer the question other than what "they" think is the best. ???? It's subjective...period...personal....I like blondes...you like ???? Bottom line..it's what makes us happy.
You are correct, sir. I suppose the real question is it as difficult a decision as deciding upon the model and option group?

I got my answer long ago. The answer is "pretty important." :p

My Triple Yellow doesn't seem to attract too much attention. All the cops that follow me around act like they are ignoring me.
