How does cold air get into the cold air intake?

most cold air intakes out there are, at best, warm air intakes.

Sorry, this is driving me a little nuts. Your intake is on the LEFT side (driver side) unless you have a Euro car that is right hand drive (Euro guys correct me if your intake is not on the right hand/driver side).

Here’s a shot of the intake funnel with the bumper off.

How is that you have a GT with the active shutters? Isn't that supposed to be just an EcoBoost thing only?

How is that you have a GT with the active shutters? Isn't that supposed to be just an EcoBoost thing only?
I believe they’re also on the non-PP GT’s. I don’t have the performance pack on my car so I assume that’s why. I believe all the Euro GT’s are PP cars so you don’t have them?

Correct, it has the PP1 basically.

It was my knowledge to be wrong.
All the non PP1/2 have the active shutters. Don't know why I was sure it was only for the EcoBoost.
