Pedders Extreme XA Coil-over kit. They cost nearly the same as buying and installing lowering springs. Not only that but you get the performance benefit of having a dedicated coil over kit and the ride height adjustability was immensely helpful. That's my take at least.

I really doubt that many people running coilovers ever do anything about ride height adjusting after the initial setup and test driving.

Every time you change ride height, things like alignment and bumpsteer change with it, and not necessarily for the better. That's what you're getting into in order to do the lowering right. Lowering by the simplest way is not the same thing at all.

I've lowered several of my cars over the years.

With $5k and one of the best Mustang shops in Seattle/ PNW. Honestly if you want to “lower” your Mustang do some research on how lowering will affect the geometry of the chassis/suspension/ steering before you just start replacing parts.

I plan on installing the Ford performance track package. One inch drop and factory engineered parts. However the simplest way is just lowering springs.

I think I’ll start with different wheels & tires first.

That's what I did, then it became very obvious that I had to lower it!

After a little drop it looks so much better.

Do you have a pic from the rear and front. I'm looking at doing something similar, I want staggered with just a little of the rear sticking out and the front pretty flush with a slightly lower front as well with little to no camber.

Zero or near-zero camber really isn't a good place for a strut-suspended car, or for IRS.

The only exception I can think of would be for a strip-street car where there's a lot of dragstrip use and not so much street driving.
