how come no SC verts?

So i am in the market for a new car and really want a convertible but I cant find any supercharged or TT around.

I understand the vert has additional bracing underneath but most any SC still fit and work right?

Also can you get recaros in the vert?

Most guys with verts don't race them because of roll bar restrictions so the big power cars tend to be coupes. That said the GT500 did come in a convertible, and I am currently planning a Whipple build for my car.

The extra bracing is mostly in the rear of the car so any aftermarket blower that works for the coupe will work for the vert.

My car is a 2015 and for that MY you couldn't get the PP package or Recaros. 16-17 verts offered the PP as an option but I am not sure about Recaro's. As far as MY '18 I havent looked into them enough to know.

Yea i was waiting for an 18 and i drove one and for the money i can get a 16/17 used vert very cheap.. like $20k cheaper than any 18..

An optioned 2018 is well over $50k.. for that money i can get an M2 or range rover discovery (i know its not a car) but i love them.

I wont be tracking the car just want all the power and in a vert..
