I’m 6’2 245 and considered obese from what my doctor said 🤣
Must be the Florida’s hot sun beating down on the interior.

It's all about how fat you are, and if the car is kept in a garage or not.

Get some tint on that windshield. 70 is not noticeable and it blocks most UV.

You can can(could) also buy factory leather pull offs for like $200. Takes like 4 hours to do all the seats.

Windows and windshield have been tinted 20% for years. Car is garaged about half the time. It's a material issue.
I am going with it’s an environmental issue.

It could be a bad batch of seat covers but my money would be on something these things have been exposed too. Could have been a bad leather dressing the dealership put on before the car was picked up. I have zero clue but what you have going on is not the norm.

4 years old . 6’1 170 lbs. After 20K they still look brand new. I keep it garaged out of the hot Florida sun 90% of the time. The key is to slide in at an angle to keep the side bolters from constant rubbing.

It's also wearing like that on the passenger side if you look closely, which probably has less than 1000 miles with a person in it

I'm starting to see some wear in my 2018 67k seat. I had a Honda s2000 10 year old 100k plus. Had no wear.

The "leather" gets cleaned periodically with either NV Cleanse or ColourLock Mild Leather Cleaner, then treated with either NV Nourish, ColourLock Leather Protector or Geist Leather Conditioner. That keeps it clean, which in turn prevents abrasion and protects from UV when it does manage to get out of the garage.

Anybody let their dogs in their car? Ive not, im kinda worried my boxers claws would tear at the perforated seats?

i traded in a 2017 and the seats looked fine, no issues at all.
