You mean like this? Yeah, did them in place on the car, 3 coats of black and 2 of glossifier. Looks good, holding up pretty well.

Took an evening, waiting 15 or so minutes between coats. Used Plastidip brand black and glossifier. You can get the black from Home Depot or Lowes. They may have red as well. If not order from DipYourCar.com

I just masked about 1" outside the vents, used some newspaper to keep overspray off the car. Any overspray could be wiped off with a microfiber cloth, but just easier to mask it. Spray over the tape as you are spraying the part, lay the last couple coats on heavy. Peel the tape and extra dip off about 15-20 minutes after the last coat. You can see the dip drying by how it loses the glossy wet look. It should peel easily right up to the edge of the vent.

I went over the top with 5 coats plati-dip and 3 coats gloss. Did the 5.0 on each side as well and used Zombie's CO decimal point to set it off.
I love the look.
The beauty is that if I get tired of it, I peel it off....

the problem i have with plastidipping them black is that it makes them look like they are replacement pieces that havent been painted. not sure if its just how the pictures look or what though.
