Hi guys,
I'm looking for some answers to a situation that exists in the Australian market.
Our Mustangs are being delivered without vents in the hood because they don't comply with the Australian Design Rules...
So, we get the "plain Jane" hood instead!
Does anyone know of a vent kit that will fit the plain hood? If so, does it come supplied with a template for the cutouts?
My Stang hasn't arrived yet so I'm not sure what I'm competing with just yet, but it sucks that we don't get the same look as you guys in the U.S. !!!
Cheers

Does anyone know if US bonnets can be fit on EU/AU mustangs? Any opinions?

I'm starting to think there might be a rather large aftermarket for a supplier that can come up with a vent insert of sorts. Between Europe and Australia, there's a shit tonne of people wanting something more than a plain bonnet but less than a full-on front facing scoop...
Plus, the freight on an item like a bonnet would be ludicrous when compared to a couple of bits of plastic!
Aftermarket guys, HERE is your next niche.

Do 2016 AU spec Mustangs come with hood vents though?

It says "hood vents w/ secondary turn signals" in the "Exterior" section on my window sticker...?

Not sure mate. My understanding was that the vents didn't meet the ADR for pedestrian safety...
I can't see how the vents pose any serious risk to a person who's just been struck by a motor vehicle
