Got it and I’m sure it’s easier once I’m actually doing it. Raising the latch will push my hood up at the front and then once I raise it up use the rubber stoppers to bring the sides back down to where my hood lines up with everything?

I ended up adjusting the latch as high as it would go and that seemed to be fine. Easy to close the hood as well.

Oddly enough, no. I thought it might, but no. As long as you adjust the rubbers so the outside edges ofthe hood line up withe the fender and headlight edges, it should be good.
I’m glad you chimed in I guess I got unlucky don’t know how my car got like this from the factory but atleast it appears to be an easy fix. Anyway you could snap some pics of your hood alignment and how the edges look

It's pretty easy. Taking out the pushpins holding the shield takes the most time. LOL.
I'm glad that I went to the bodyshop to get advice. The rubbers adjust only the front corners to get the proper fascia/ fender alignment. Their other purpose is to stabilize the hood to prevent shake/ flutter. If you do get flutter once the center latch height is correctly adjusted, adjust your rubbers. I'll snap a pic and send later.

Ok, I ran out quick and took photos. Right now the hood is a tiny bit higher than the fascia but it looks good. When I bought the car new the hood was very low behind the fascia and looked odd. Also note that the front corner alignment to the fender and fascia is adjusted by the rubbers.

Hmm, now that I look at the pics, I guess I did a better job than I thought. LOL.
