I’d like to mount a pistol holster inside, but I’m having trouble finding a good spot for one. The console would really only hold a sub-compact.

Has anyone mounted a holster/magnet? Looking for some ideas.

Thanks!

I usually just put it in my cup holder as I drive around. Had bought a couple of magnets to hold it in place, but the 3m tape it came with was not the greatest & came off. Didn't want to drill holes. But imo where I was aiming to put the magnets was the passenger side center console. Kind of by where the passenger left knee would be. Easiest place to pull it from.

Same here. I forget I even have it on, until I sit down.

I used the powerfully dual magnet, ACP mounts. Powerfully, holds your CCW tightly. You can mount next to on the side of center console or on the front lower panel just in front of your knee, which ever one feels comfortable to quickly grab. Good Luck.

you need a good belt and a holster like this. the 2 loops let it move with you. i wear it at 4Oclock and never have to remove it even with hundreds of miles of driving.

I have no problem at all warehousing a G19 and a Smith 442 in my center console, at the same time. Both are holstered in heavy leather IWB holsters. One of us must be doing something wrong.

Like some others I have the same problem with a holster becoming uncomfortable when sitting down. My wife tells me it’s Dunlop syndrome, where my belly has “dunlopped” over my belt.

you guys ever think about getting holsters that are just comfortable?
Hard to do in Recaros. A Seecamp in the front pocket? Maybe a Colt Mustang?
Being a new left hander puts me on the door or hanging near the hood release. Nothing solid here but sweeping a body part is never a good idea.
