RBS is spinning it to 8000. Opg and timing is the only thing changed.

Taking a coyote to 8k is not new. Esp on the 15s. Upgrading the sprocket and oil pump gear is recommended by not mandatory.

Surely revving a Coyote to 8250rpm will result in the engine popping as Ford no doubt uprated parts of the Voodoo to handle the additional 1250rpm, 8250rpm peak?
Yes to factory warranty an engine to those Rpms I'm sure it's been lightened and balanced etc to deal with it. In these days of forged internals etc it's not uncommon for engines to be limited by intake manifolds and heads/cams etc (airflow). I plan to do the opg in the future hopefully with some nasty cams until then I would just like the powerband to continue to at least 7500. Then to me the 3.73s will work and it'll be making more power via rpm which imo is a strongpoint of the dohc architecture (and why I'm a fan of dohc over pushrods!)

But wait! There's more bickering and doubting to be done until then!

J/K brotha, keep on keeping on and let the detractors, nay-sayers, braggers, and impatient folks walk their own path.
This the Internet does it hurt your feelings ? The detractors , nay-Sayers, braggers and impatient folks are also the ones who are coughing up hard earned money for these parts keeping many businesses 'in' business. Is it so bad that people are impatient and want to spend money ? Never really believed I would hear vendors laughing and agreeing with that sort of thing

It's called sarcasm...

And when the "vendor" has to continually repeat himself saying he has zero control over when the part is going to be released, power numbers, etc., then yes, it's so bad.

Fair enough!

Just remember more RPM equals more wear. I'd be concerned over revving higher unless changing out the parts for uprated parts to handle that RPM like Ford did with the Voodoo engine.

We have an upgraded boss 302 engine from the factory. The boss 302 went was revved to 8250 once modded. Its fine. You really need to stop this.

The BOSS 302 was released from Ford with a 7500rpm limiter, not 8250rpm.

I do not need to stop anything its a forum where people discuss things and talk freely, freedom of speech and all that. :)

So based on what your saying our engine is the BOSS 302 with some additional upgrades, what upgrades did we get over the BOSS 302 out of curiosity?

Makes me feel better about 7500rpm, but it is simple physics, more rpm does equal more wear. :)

I know what it came with. I was a ford master tech at that time when it came out. We are limited by manifold not because the engine cant do it. You need to stop spreading your worry when ive told you before. The s550 can do 8k for 100k plus miles. We have a reworked boss 302 head.
We dont have their pistons or rod bearings if i recall correctly.

Boss 302 has CNC'd runners. 15+ coyote has "as cast" runners. No improvement in the heads. We do have better cams, though.

We have larger valves, we have the boss intake cam and the cobra jet cam. We have cast runners now because at the time to get their size they needed to be cnc. Now its made into the cast. Yes we have reworked heads.
