Hmm, a little confused. I sort of did in my first post, no?
Maybe I should add, there are no MODs to it, still stock

From time to time, you hear or read online that people complain about creaking in their dashboard (not on Mustangs, just in general cars). Well, this is similar, BUT, only when I am on the motorway.

Does that make sense?
Dude.....

Premium? Base? Seat type? Heated/cooled seats? Recaros?

Everyone is asking questions trying to help you, they need some more info.

Nope, no Performance Package on this unit. I will say, this is my official 1st Mustang.
On 6th June, I had a V6, 2017 Mustang. By the 13th, I upgraded to the V8, 5.0 GT. The better option would have been to get a GT with Performance Package, etc. But, the price difference was simply too much for me.

But, the NEXT Mustang, well, I'm going ALL OUT! :headbang:

Do you have the Performance Package? I know on mine I can hear a slight hissing sound coming from the vacuum gauge. It's almost as if there is a small vacuum leak on the backside of the gauge, but it still functions 100%.

Sorry, clearly I'm terrible at this. Albeit, since I didn't state Performance Package, etc. I'd presume that meant it was without the items you listed below.

However, Base model, with 4 way seat adjustment, that are cloth standard seats. Nonheated/cooled.

There's a whiny noise that I presume comes through the sound tube. I kind of like it.

There have been folks that posted similar wind noise issues with other S550's and it turned out in some instances that there is a welded seam in the windshield channel. If the weld has pin holes, it creates wind noises at speed.

Some have posted the fix was removal of windshield and the seams had to be sealed.

Also note the same issue has resulted in water seepage into the interior. Most notable leak prone area has been passenger side near A-pillar. Folks have posted pics in the TSB subforum on here showing water leaked inside of the vehicle from top corner of passenger door (where door meets dash) streaming down to passenger side kick panel.

You would have to take your car to a Dealer for repair. Methods to find issue are:
1) Some shops can try to pressurize the cabin to see if air leaks through any open seams or holes in the body.
2) Water leak test by running hose over vehicle and looking for interior water seepage under dash at firewall, doors, etc.

Hmm, say more about that...

It's just a kind of high pitched whine you can hear pretty clearly with the radio off. I'm pretty sure it's the sound they want you to hear via the sound tube. If that's what it is you can get a sound tube delete kit.

there is a definite creaking coming from both my s550s dashboards lol. creaking cracking snapping you name it the plastic pieces make all sorts of crap noise. But no hissing.

Your terminology here is better than mine. Hissing was a poor choice of a word, on my part. But, from other comments online, this 'creaking or crackling', seems to be the standard.

To me thought, this still seems weird on a $35k-$45k car...

Bring it to the dealer and have them check it out, I had an air leak in a seal somewhere in my windshield that made a hissing sound above 35mph and they fixed it under warranty
