Hissing sound

Back in June, I bought a 2017 Mustang GT, 5.0. The car drives well, and is my daily driver.

However, I've noticed when I get onto the motorway, there is a sort of hissing sound, coming from the dash. Well, more from the bottom of the windshield. I only seem to hear this on the motorway, and mainly in the mornings (when it isn't as hot).

Is this to do with the air flow coming into the car? And, do others hear something similar?

Do you have cooled seats by chance? If so check and see if the passenger seat is on. That's makes a hissing sound.

From time to time, you hear or read online that people complain about creaking in their dashboard (not on Mustangs, just in general cars). Well, this is similar, BUT, only when I am on the motorway.

Does that make sense?

It would be....like.....super helpful if you told us about your car.

Do you have the Performance Package? I know on mine I can hear a slight hissing sound coming from the vacuum gauge. It's almost as if there is a small vacuum leak on the backside of the gauge, but it still functions 100%.

How is the road condition on the motorway? When I drive fast on rough conditions, my dashboard makes a hissing sound (I think its actually a rattle) because of the vibrations. My A/C also makes the sound more prominent if it's running fast.

You might be onto something here. I'll pay even more attention to it this evening, when driving home. Albeit, with the sheer volume of traffic, I bet I don't hear it. More than likely why I only hear it in the mornings, when I'm zooming into work...
