Just like the title says. I have a slight hesitation when I load two different custom tunes. Each by different tuners. Stock tune clears it up. I have SW 1 7/8 full lengths with 3" collector to corsa extreme cat back. I checked the imrc lines and connections after jacking up the engine when I installed the long tubes. It kinda feels like there may be a vacuum leak. Anyone else's have issues running aftermarket tunes?

what tuning device do you have? did you do a Kam reset and a crank sensor relearn after you loaded the custom tune?

I've used both devices. The x4 and NGuage. It does it after a KAM reset as well. That's kinda why I'm thinking it might be something with my car.

If the stock tune clears it up then it is not the car. As a previous poster said who tuned it?

I think the stock tune may mask the hesitation. Because the shift points are earlier. I'd rather not name the tuner. We are still working on data logging. I was just wondering if anyone has had the same issue. I appreciate the responses so far!

the only reason we ask is to see if it is someone reputable or jim bob off the street. Jim bob off the street doesn't typically do too well tuning especially the 2015+ coyotes.

Both are reputable. One is the preloaded SCT x4 the other is very reputable. That why I don't think it's the tuner. Just my jacked up ride. Lol

Your reputable may not be the consensus reputable. If we know who tuned it, then we can start trying to figure out if anything similar has happened with one of their tunes. Then we can actually help you. Till then.. Well, it's all guess work. Can you get a data log of the event?

It is odd two different tunes from two different tuners are causing the same issue. Stock tune "fixing it" might just be masking it better.

Could be bad gas from the same station. A tune would definitely make bad gas more noticeable and could cause hesitation due to knock, that would not be present on the stock conservative tune.

I think the stock tune is masking it. How can I tell if it's bad gas? What should I have up on my ngauge?

knock and timing advance maybe?

If you run a datalog add throttle position and load.

try dumping a bottle of octane booster into your tank and see if that helps too.
