Hi guys. This morning I noticed a CEL on my 2017 Mustang GT and the code is P0024.
One of the causes of this code is low oil on the engine. I checked my oil level and it was missing about half a quart of oil. The last time the oil was changed was on 5/8/23 at Ford Dealership.
While the CEL was on the car ran fine. Not issues starting/cranking the engine, smooth idling, no loss of power and no strange sounds coming from the engine.
I added half a quarter of oil and cleared the CEL and after 25 miles the engine light hasn't comeback.
The only engine modification is e85 Lund tune.
I did noticed that the Lund tune didn't add timing on moderate accelerations while the CEL was on but once it was cleared, it went back to normal.
Anyone has experienced with this code? I couldn't find much on Mustang6G, just one guy that damaged his engine because there was no oil.
No I'm wondering where the half a quart of oil went or if the dealer didn't put the whole 8 quarts of oil.
Thanks
