My car has been idling a bit rough and will randomly cut the engine when putting clutch well coming to a stop. My thought is the cam shaft position sensor, but I can’t find anything online telling me where this sensor is so I can replace it. Does anyone know need help fast

You’re welcome. Just curious, have you tried a crank relearn first to see if that clears up your issue?
What is that and how would I do that? I’ll try anything at this point

A Coyote crank relearn is a procedure that synchronizes the engine's crankshaft position sensor with the engine's control module after certain repairs, like a clutch or flywheel replacement, to ensure proper engine timing and prevent misfires.

Here's a more detailed explanation:
  • Why it's necessary:
When you disturb the crankshaft or flywheel, the engine's computer may lose its "memory" of the crankshaft's position, leading to misfires or other performance issues.

  • How it's done:
A crank relearn is performed using a Ford IDS tool (dealer diagnostic computer) or an SCT X4 tuner (under special functions).

  • Consequences of not performing it:
Failing to perform a crank relearn can result in misfires, reduced power, or the engine going into "limp mode," especially under high RPM/load situations.

  • Symptoms of a bad crankshaft position sensor:
A car with a bad sensor might experience rough idling, prolonged cranking, or may not start at all.

If you have a different tuning device, you’ll have to look up that particular device to walk through the procedure.

Wait that has to be the problem because I just replaced my clutch maybe 2 weeks ago, I did not know that you are a life saver
