I have a 2015 and have the MSD kit labeled 2011-early 2016. Under the dash my clutch has a black/green wire and blue/orange wire. I have tried every combination with those 2 wires and the blue or blue/white wire on MSD. With the ignition on the light on the MSD is on and with the car on the light goes off and the MSD does not activate with the clutch pressed in. At this point i dont know which color wire does what for the clutch and wondering maybe the wire tapper MSD supplied isnt tapping like it should.

This is for 2016+

I have the instructions that came with it and its not working which is why i wanted to see if anyone else with a 2015 with this 2 step. Theres a lot of conflicting info on the forums due to different years and people had to go against the instruction manual.
oh yes yer right. You have the 11-14 coil wiring on yer 15. IIRC something about reversing the coil wires. Look into that first, don't just go ahead and do it ha-ha.

I tried that since the manual suggested and got ticking and a CEL lol

I think my clutch pedal isnt activating the MSD. I cant find a wiring diagram to see what the black/green and blue/orange does on early s550s. I saw threads of people using a violet/green but those are later models. American muscle said black/green which makes me wonder if the wire isnt tapping.

MT82 2-step = use Green-Violet wire for ground activation (either under dash or near PCM)

No experience with it myself, but let me know if I can reach out for more info on my end.
I figured it out. I guess ford put the extra thick shielding on my wires. After looking further i noticed the tap wasnt penetrating into the wires. I tried two different styles. I ended up cutting the wires and spliced directly and its the blue/orange wire. Thanks for the help.
