I just purchased a set of Project 6GRs R Spec for my 350. I'm driving myself nuts over fitment, stance etc and I can't make up my mind

I've though about doing 305/35/19 squared as well as going 305/30/19 and 325/30/19.

I have two concerns with the 30 AR vs 35. One is ride height. I'm lowered on FP Springs (20mm) and I don't want a crazy gap. I'm not looking to be slammed but I like the look with the 35 AR right now.

The other is speedo and gearing. I'm assuming my effective gearing will change with the different AR/Tire Size.

So who's running what and if I'm running a separate track set up and this for the streets (roll racing, donuts etc) what's the best option for 'daily use'?

Thanks!

For track, some wheel gap is fine and the speedo doesn't really matter. Get the right tire model, regardless if its a 30 or 35 series.

For the street, I generally like the MP4S, but I don't run 11" on the street (285/35 on a 10"). A 295/35 is still pretty meaty looking and would have less stretch on an 11 if you can't source a 305/35 in the tire you want.

I run a 305/35/20 in the rear and a 255/35/20 up front (stock height) and personally I like the look of the taller side walls of a 35 AP. I think 19” with 30 series look too small overall for the wheel wells.

Plus, it’s a slightly better ride too.

I've been on the OEM setup (295/35 and 305/35) and it's been fantastic.

While I like staggered, I'm leaning towards 305/35 squared. It's a shame Michelin or Continental don't offer anything in a 315/35

305 rear with 255 front is a perfect combination for terminal understeer....why ????

Bought them locally off a guy (wheels and tires) and they look good. Plus I won’t be taking it to the track with these tires on it, and it goes in a straight line just fine ;-)
