So I'm thinking about picking up some new wheels and tires in the next couple months, and I had a couple questions. So far, my top 2 wheel choices are the SVE R350 and the Project 6GR, both in a 19" staggered setup (10" and 11"). I believe they both have the same specs regarding backspacing and offset. One important thing to note is that my car is currently lowered on Sportlines, and I don't want any rubbing. My car is not a daily driver, but it does see the occasional HPDE.

1) Does anyone know how wide I can go front and rear with these wheels without any issues rubbing? Ideally, I'd like to go with a 305/35 rear and something between a 275-295/35 front.

2) I was looking at Michelin Super Sports because they are available in a 305/35/19, but I don't know what the best choice is for the fronts. I suppose most of that will be dictated by what doesn't rub. Secondary to that, does anyone have any opinions on which size to go with up from on a 10" wheel?

Thanks in advance for the help!

You can do a 285 on the front w/o a spacer, its a common setup. 295 is getting wide for the 10" wheel, maybe with a 5mm spacer if would fit (barely).

The trick setup is 19x11 square with 305s, but you'd need extended studs and a spacer in the front at minimum.

if you're serious about tracking the car much, a square 10" setup is the most practical, and the stance in the back is just as wide and wheels are just as deep, you just loose some tire on the inside.

I just went with a square setup from SVE myself. I got the GT7’s in 19x10 and Michelin PS4’s in 285/35.

Mine is my daily and it’ll see over 20k a year so I opted to not go with the 19x11 setup and 305’s. If my car was track only then 19x11’s all day.

I have 10s and 11s in the garage and 295/35s and 305/35s on order. We'll see how it fits.
A 295 is the largest recommended tire for a 10" wheel. We'll see.

This is very helpful. My next upgrade will be wheels, as I have a buyer for my pp ones. I want a square 10" setup but I want it in the style of the GT350 or GT350R wheels. I've seen some, but is there a brand that might stay balanced for more than a year? Will the stock GT350 wheels work without studs, etc..(10.5/11)?

I run 19x10 squared SVE R350 wheels with 275/40/19 Michelin Pilot A/S 3+. They look great, are light weight, and handle great. I needed a mix of performance and cold weather handling since I daily drive my car, this wheel/tire setup is perfect.
