I have a 2015 Mustang GT with a Roush 2.3L TVS blower and 80mm pulley. It only had 38K miles on it. I waited 17 years to get another mustang once my kids got old enough and I'm heart broken and lost on what to do. I just went from the phase 1 85mm pulley to the phase 2 80mm pulley. Replaced the OPG and crank gear, added the lethal performance 2 pump return style fuel system, added 95lb injectors, added NGK 1 step colder plugs, and tuned to E85. Had the car 3 days and blew the engine. Mechanic and Tuner said the data logs looked fine. Have no idea what the cause was. There was no oil lights or any warning lights going. Yes, it blew when I was doing a pull. But now, I don't know what to do and feel in over my head because of conflicting info on FB. What are my options? Gen 2s are discontinued and seem to be a fortune $10k+ for what's out there. I was told the TVS won't fit on a gen 3. Then someone said I could use a gen 3 block and use my Gen 2 heads and cams. I just really need some advice on how to get it back on the road and hoping to get some sound advice. No, I can't afford just to get a gen 3 and buy a whole new blower. How can I get it back on the road with the blower I have? Same Pull
Thank you in advance.

Is your Gen 2 block ruined? It can probably be salvaged and if so, I would drop a set of Mahle pistons and Manley rods, clean up the cylinder walls and call it a day. I've don't this to my gen 2 and it was pretty cost effective if you know a competent shop to do the install. If you need any help with routes you could go, feel free to shoot me a message anytime, I've been there. Lethalperformance.com

Hi. I bought all my stuff through you guys. I've spent a small fortune :). How do I get in touch with you. My block is salvageable according to my mechanic.

Get a used shortblock from a f150 for under $1500 you can drop it right in or put better rods and pistons in it then drop it in.
If you use brand new rods pistons crank block valve job oil pump you can get it done around $3500 it’s not as expensive as people think. Assuming you can do most of the work

soo what caused it? 8k shift points? ever ran low on oil?

the bearing disintegrating like that would typically take time. did it lock up? i imagine the hammering noise would have been pretty evident a good while back TBH. what rod # was that?

it expect any oil pump gear to take damage if the metals in the oil like that. only part with no filtered oil. was it measured before install? tip clearance body height etc..

Get a used gen 3 short block if you can. Your blower will fit on that block.
