Guys—I am wanting to build an A10 GT Premium w/ all options but I don’t like the PP1 appearance. The PP1 wheels, spoiler, just aren’t doing it for me. My dream car would be PP2 appearance (wheels, both spoilers), but with A10. My questions:

1) Should I order PP1 with rear spoiler delete to make it easier to add a PP2 spoiler later? Or get the PP1 spoiler and then swap out?
2) What would l need to do to convert the PP1 front spoiler to PP2 specs?
3) Are the PP1 to PP2 brakes basically the same?
4) Can I run aftermarket lowering springs with Magnaride options? Even the PP2 cars appear to ride slightly high.

4) Can I run aftermarket lowering springs with Magnaride options? Even the PP2 cars appear to ride slightly high. PP2 cars have a smaller diameter tire from the factory giving it a larger tire to wheel well gap and hindering the appearance

Thanks! I don’t want the Cup 2 tires anyway, I have them on the GT350 and we want this A10 car to be a daily driver and long distance cruiser for trips (the GT350 is not this). Would I want to get PP2 factory wheels and then put regular tires on them? Maybe a Pilot 4S or something? Would that set up ride good for long distance or are the PP2 wheels too wide?

Tram-lining usually increases with wider wheels and tires up front. Many options on the PP2 wheels from factory to replicas and similar styles such as the Shelby wheels. Pilot 4s are a good tire for sure

PP2 front splitter is part # JR3Z17626AA. I had it added to my PP1 car.

What about a 17-18 GT350 rear spoiler? That might look good with a PP2 front set up.

Also, with all options this car is coming out to be $53,645 on the Ford configurator. On a 2020 order does anyone know what kind of discounts I might get? Anyone have a dealer who would order one for me with a discount? I saw some threads were people were ordering high optioned 19’s and getting like $5K off sticker. Is this possible?

7-9% off on a custom-order 2020 is possible in theory. Whether or not any dealer will play ball or not is uncertain. The factory PP2 wheels are nothing to write home about IMO. You can get aftermarket that look the same or close enough and you won't also pay for tires you don't want.

Regionally some dealers are sitting on a pile of leftover '19 PP2 cars. Why not learn how to drive a stick? St. Pete traffic isn't (didn't used to be) that bad. I used to live in northern suburbs of Tampa and drive to Raytheon in St. Pete.

Zl1addons for the front lip (bigver than the. Pp2 lip if you want)
And SP2 wheels from Lmr.
The rest is pratically the same.
Just a slighty stiffer swaybar and magnaride.
Enjoy the new ride!

I'm not sure about the 18'+ but having a stock spoiler on my 2016 really made it easy to add the GT350 Track spoiler since the holes were already there and I didn't have to drill new ones. So assuming the holes are the same between the PP spoiler option and PP2 spoiler, it would be easier to get the option and change out the spoilers.

The brake calipers and rotors are the same front and rear as the PP1. I believe the pads are as well.

Another option, if you're looking to improve handling, is to add GT350R stuff. I went with GT350R sway bars, springs, strut tower brace, track spoiler, and steering wheel. All reasonably priced and excellent for both the track and daily driving when paired with the right tires. I run Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3+ on the street. I wanted the PP in 2016 but they did not offer it with the option so I had to basically make the upgrades myself. As others have said LMR makes a copy of the wheels and they're significantly lighter than the factory ones. I run 275/40 on 19x10 wheels for daily driving. Definitely start with a PP1 though so you don't have to worry about upgrading brakes, cooling, etc.

I have the GT350 Track Pack spoiler on my 2019 and can confirm it used the existing holes in the trunk from the PP1 spoiler.

Thanks. Can anyone confirm the PP1 spoiler holes would also then match up perfectly for the PP2 rear spoiler? I would rather not have to drill holes if I get the spoiler delete + maybe I could sell off the PP1 wing.

I had a GT-350 track pack spoiler on my PP1. I had to drill for it. The template with the official Ford spoiler is great, but major pucker factor drilling 9 holes in a pristine deck lid.

The track pack spoiler is WAY more aggressive than the PP2 spoiler. I like my PP2 spoiler appearance, but would probably go track pack if I was starting from scratch. It's probably safe to assume there's 1 hole pattern for all spoilers, but I don't know anyone whose removed a PP2.

I had the dealer change the Cup 2 tires to P4S before delivery and I'm very happy with them.I added front Rok Blokz for a little more protection. There's a lot of poke on the PP2 setup.

There are PP2 owners running mag ride lowering springs without any problems.

I can’t imagine Ford would use a completely different tool on the trunk for the PP2 spoiler. I also replaced my base spoiler with a GT350 track spoiler using existing holes.

I thought hard about getting a PP1 with the A10, and MagneRide, and then adding the Ford racing MagneRide springs, sway bars and the tune for the MagneRide, along with the PP2 front splitter, and calling it done. In the end though, it made more sense to just get a PP2 and relearn how to shift gears. Automatics are so much more efficient though.
