See pics. If I am looking at this correctly, the throttle body electrical connectors are behind the pulley. I believe the pulley will need to be removed in order to access and check connections.

Yes that is the connector. But if it was me I would take the throttle body off to access . Think that would be way easier.

I thought the roush kit came with a larger tb. Either way it would be very simple and easy to check over the wiring and the-seat the connector and extension if it has one.

Edit, it might be easier to pull the tb off to access the connector.
It does come with a larger TB than stock.

See pic. This appears to be the "adapter" that is tucked away in the batter box. Is this the analog throttle body with the adapter, or, the digital TB?

The car will be going back to the performance shop asap (via tow truck), but I suppose I could also contact Roush and get the newer digital TB if I happen to have the outdated analog TB with the adapter.

This matter was also discussed in this port:

Thanks.

The throttle body takes less than 10 minutes to remove. However if you remove the clamp from the clamp from the hose that runs to the TB, you can get to the connector. The connector is in a little valley directly below the TB there is plenty of cable to lift it out and check connector. The TB on the Roush Kits share the same part number with the GT350.

Here are some pics for you, so you can see what I am talking about. Make sure the cable is pushed in tight and the red locking clip is pushed all the way in.

Ha - this is funny and also very helpful. So I took off the right side (when face on) Roush coil cover, so I could better access some of the cables. I was able to get my hands on most of the connectors. Sure I enough, I found one that appeared to be loose. I pushed it together and heard a nice "click". You can see it in this pic; the red clip beneath the pulley was not totally tight.

From there, I started and the car and let it idle for 10 minutes - no issues. Took for an easy drive for 15 minutes - no issues. Then ran the piss out of it on the country roads for 10 minutes - hard launches, up to 130 mph, etc. - no issues at all. I came back home, checks for DTC codes, and there were no longer any codes. I am still going to have the performance shop investigate, but perhaps the issue was a simple one.

Thanks a lot for sharing this. Per my last post, the red locking clip was not pushed all the way in. I pushed it in tight and heard a nice "click".

From my prior pic I uploaded of the adapter in the battery box area, can you tell if I have the 2018 analog TB connector or the newer digital version of the TB connector? I plan to call Roush tomorrow morning and inquire, right after I call the performance shop. Depending on what the performance shop says, I may take it to the Ford dealer (which is a top-line Roush dealer with some excellent mustang techs) and have them investigate, as the Ford dealer is closer to my house than the performance shop.

That is great you was able to find the clip and I would guess that was your issue. I've had my throttle body off and on a few times.

Big shout out to Gavin at Roush Performance. I call him this morning, explained the issue, sent him an email with the car info, DTC codes, and pics, and Roush is sending me the newer throttle body with the digital controls - free of charge - even though my warranty just expired a few weeks ago. That seems like some awesome customer service from Roush Performance in my opinion.
