Hellion twins another results thread

Well, After what seemed forever to get installed and tuned finally have some numbers. 743 rwhp and 657 tq on e85. 10.5 lbs of boost.

First night at the track in almost 90 degree heat. All passes trapped 137....... First pass 10.7 babying the car. After that managed a 10.4,10,3,10.2. Best 60 was only a 1.53 on a 3b. Was kinda hoping for 1.4 territory. Gonna work at it and there's most certainly a nine second pass in the car. All in all very pleased. The car does not feel fast but 10.2 tells me otherwise.

How does it feel on the street, is there to much turbo lag. 740 whp should feel like a monster.

It's amazing how well these engines respond to a little bit of boost.

Did you go with the 55 mm turbos?
How's the drivability for everyday street use?

Went with the 55's. I installed a bunch of solid bushing shit in the rear and car rides like shit, I'm not sure what I'm going to do about it yet.

. Getting a little surging while driving i have to figure out why. Went with the bassani exhaust that's a direct bolt up to the hellion kit and hate the sound of it. It drones like a mofo but yet is quiet when your on it. This is coming from a guy who had a 13 with long tubes and Roush ab's and loved em.

Went with the bassani exhaust that's a direct bolt up to the hellion kit and hate the sound of it. It drones like a mofo but yet is quiet when your on it. This is coming from a guy who had a 13 with long tubes and Roush ab's and loved em.

I have a Kooks catback with mine is and it is fairly conservative/quiet, a whole lot quieter then my Kooks longtubes :eyebulge:
