Hellion twin turbo build

I went by the shop today to check the progress of my car and it’s coming along nicely. We’re waiting for some brackets and hoses to route the oil. Hellion said it’s their first top mount kit. I’m hoping it’s done by the end of the month

Is it standard practice to pull the motor for a tt install? That car is going to rip when back together

He dropped the front subframe. He said it’s easier to work on and he’s not leaning over it potentially scratching the fenders

What did this set you back roughly without their labor cost?

I never liked the hellion kits since the turbos were under the car. I was probably going to go the whipple route but this has me intrigued.

They have 2 kits the sleeper which is the one underneath and the top mount which I have. The kit itself was 11k

same fitment - mach 1 may have some extra cooling in the way but it is the same

What are your thoughts on the McLeod RXT? I'm slightly behind you in my build (2021 Velocity Blue Mach 1 with Hellion Sleeper kit). I know that once I throw boost at it the stock clutch will be on borrowed time. I've run the Mcleod RST before and really enjoyed the pedal feel and ability to slip the clutch like stock. From what I have heard the RXT is a bit racier so you give up some drivability for performance. Curious how you think it compares to stock.
