Alright guys have a total noob question here, I've never felt with turbo kits so forgive me. How does the turbo exhaust manifolds hook up to the exhaust? Basically I'm wanting to know if this kit will mate up to my 2.5" x-pipe resonator delete.

Yes, the Hellion kit replaces alot of the piping, etc and the manifolds actually go into the turbo but in the end the kit hooks up to where the factory resonator starts...

Alright thanks, I didn't know what type of connection it had on the end. I've always messed with SC so this turbo stuff is all new to me

No worries. It has the same slip fit connection that it uses from the factory. The kit also comes with both 2.5" and 3" connections in case you have a 3" catback :headbang:

I might swap out my exhaust for a full 3" later down the road. I did the 3" magnaflow acleback but a 2.5" resonator delete cause Magnaflow wouldnt sell me the rest of the exhaust :/

You will definitely see a difference with a 3" exhaust. I tried the 2.5" FRPP X pipe with the stock exhaust. Sounded bad and slowed the car down as well.

Well I'm a bit more free flowing than the stock mufflers

I have mine hooked up with MAC resonator delete H pipe and kooks axle back (straight through).
Sounds badass!
With the stock suitcase it was too quiet .

I have a 2.5" Ford Racing catback with my Hellion kit and I HATE the way it sounds. WOT isn't bad but the rasp and sound at part throttle from 2k-2.5k is AWFUL...

I am looking at getting a Magnaflow system but it looks like it necks down to 2.5" to connect to the stock system. I would like something full 3" the entire way. Maybe a corsa extreme? It looks to have just adapters for the 2.5" connections that can be removed...

Mine is 2.5" that expands to 3" at the axle back. Mine sounds pretty good nice deep tone. In regards to the mf catback, just have your local perfoamce shop cut off the 2.5" section and weld in a 3" replacement

But I do have the competition mufflers from mf which helps me get that really low deep tone

This might give you a good idea. I cut my factory connect off my Catback and welded it to the vband connection pipe.
