How about the MPS 1200?
http://goturbo.net/coyote-mps-1200-shortblock.html#.V3_4JnxTFeU

The motor I put in my KB car is about equivalent and could be a compromise.
I can get the Livernois pro block(Jamie actually sys he has one in stock so no lead time) and add the sleeve supports myself.

I know some still say "snake oil" but Sheldon Lewis has gone 8's with his motor with sleeve supports..... and I am not even looking for an 8 second pass.

To be honest part of my motivation to sleeve was the prospect of getting a "5.2" at the same time.
I used to have a 2011 GT500 and spent a long time trying to make 12 GT have similar torque ..... but it never happened. I was hoping the 5.2 would come close.

Damn, this indecision is killing me and potentially delaying my build increasing down time.

The most sensible thing to do really may be to just wait until the engine is torn down and I can see exactly what the cause of the failure was.

Obviously if the block cracked I may be more inclined to get a sleeved block.
if the block is fine,I may just machine it,replace the pistons, use sleeve inserts, reuse my heads and call it a day at that point since it will equivalent to any non sleeved block out there with H rods but a lot cheaper.

It's done !
I knew if I did not sleeve I would be constantly worrying . I also really wanted a 5.2(boosted)and know if I did not get one I would always wonder and wish I did .
I spoke again to MMR and they assured me that had not had issues with their 5.2 sleeved block with boost .They will warranty the block up to 1500 HP whether it is a 5.0 or 5.2 .

At least I can relax and just wait now . Paid up,so no going back .
Can't wait to see what is does with the GT 350 heads .Hoping for some more torque down low/faster spool.I will be sticking to stock cams but not sure on valve springs yet since we have not been able to get the upgraded GT 350 springs to work on then other motor with GT 350 heads
The best part is,it will be like having a new car since new and different engine .
May be a prototype of the next GT 500?

Like I said, I am not looking to break any records or run 8's but want a fast reliable street car with more low end torque, that will run mid to low 9's without me constantly worrying about it .
Hoping this is the last engine i put in the car .
Thanks to everyone for their input !

I found this MMR response to some questions on another forum :

What is the preferred block to have sleeved? At the moment the strongest block would be the GT350 5.2, followed by the Sportsman and then the stock block.
Will the 2011-2014 blocks get cracks in the valley even when sleeved? The Valley is not usually a place they crack, we do however see cracks between the cylinders.
Are 2015+ blocks structurally improved over 2011-2014? Our testing and inspection would say no at this point in time.
What is the current reliable limit for a sleeved block without a dry deck? With the proper sleeve 1500 no problem
Is Ford coming out with a gen2 sportsman block? Not that we have been told
What is the consensus on Darton Mid Sleeves? The darton midsleeve is a great design but relies on block strength to retain its intregity which the block doesnt have unfortunately. With this in mind a dry sleeve from MMR, Darton or any of the other manufacturers is the strongest way to go.

Cylinder Heads:
What RPM / Cam Selection is it advantageous to delete the cam phasers? Not really RPM related (but can be in certain cases depending on valve springs as these wreak havok on phaser operation, this is primarily due to the pressure of aftermarket springs having greater force than that of the oil pressure within the phaser , we would suggest it for all PD blowers and all Turbo and supercharger applications above 700HP (this is in our opinion where the benefits out weigh the negatives)
Will GT350 heads fit on a 92.2mm bore? Yes, camshaft selection however will dictate valve train components needed to make them work.
[/B]

Hmmm ,may be I need to cough up another $1500 and ask them to sleeve the 5.2, so I can have the "strongest "??lol,I think not.

what would that be rated to? It better be more than 1500 HP!

Here are details of another 5.2 build I found on the 197 forum
"So some of you know what I went through to get the car going after blowing up the second built 3V. I have decided on a new setup and have just about everything in to get it going again. The car has been basically sitting for the last 6 years and a couple months (4/6/2010). I have gotten rid of everything off the 5.3L big bore 3v after finding out that they left coolant in the motor and it was rusted up, coincidentally the GT500 motor I bought had the same fate.

I ordered a built 5.4 from Accufab and everything to put it together. Then decided that I wanted to go the Coyote route. So now I have a sleeved 2012 block and all new parts to get it going again. Parts list below.

2012 Coyote block with Darton Gen III sleeves 3.7" bore
New Boss crankshaft
New timing set
New Livernois Stage 3 ported and polished cylinder heads
Diamond pistons 11:1 compression top and side coated
New Coyote oil pump with TSS billet gears
Oil Squirter block off plates
Manley Pro Billet I beam rods
MMR Billet Crankshaft gear
Accufab SHD secondary timing chains
MMR billet chain guides and secondary tensioner bracket
New Boss Alternator
All the misc. sensors from BeefCake
FRPP Coyote Control Pack for 11-14
Built TR6060
Mcleod RXT twin disk clutch
Stock intake cams and Boss exhaust cams

He said he is using a 2012 coyote block. Not a 5.2/Voodoo block.

Never said he was.
Sorry if I have been confusing (I can see why looking at my post!)
He is having a coyote block bored and sleeved to 5.2 like I am.
There is a more expensive option to have the 5.2 voodoo sleeved for $1500 more .
