No, the wife made 2 more passes. I think we hurt the trans, I have to look at it this week. It didn't feel good on the drive home.

Do you have a Stall Converter? Just wondering if those '60 foot times are stock converter.

Do you have a Stall Converter? Just wondering if those '60 foot times are stock converter.
Stock converter. Foot braked it to around 2k. Leaving off idle is about the same.

This was the best looking car on the property. I was drooling over it - he probably thought I was a stalker I stared at it so much. Real cool dude that owns it. I watched it on YouTube about a decade ago!

Took the pan off today. It has alot clutch material in it. Although no codes are stored it feels like 5th or 6th gear does not like being in the transmission any more. Reading through info that seems pretty common on these things.

For now I am going to get a new trans from Ford. It comes with a 3 year warranty and is NEW, not REMAN. Of course they may only warranty 1 time before they question it. Both my parts guy at Ford and the Sales rep know the car has twins on it so we should be good for at least 1 redo if needed.

At some point I may install a Suncoast valve body or other upgrades, right now though my wallet needs a break!

Should be done next week.

Hey why u got a fuel system on that NA car????
It's funny. This is our nemesis, She has a GT500 runs 10.9s@130. Her sister has a Redeye Hellcat that she has not raced yet.

We put the car together for my wife to out run her and her sister.

We sat in the staging lanes with the hood up for 10 minutes. None of them noticed what was up. I explained (truthfully) that I installed 4 to 1 headers, 3 inch exhaust and an E85 tune.

The car used to run 12.3x, first pass was 10.5x@133. They all thought it was from the before mentioned additions.

Finally one of them noticed the intercooler through the bumper before they figured it out.

It was a fun day.

Just a public service announcement since Forced Induction is the only place I post in. For those of us that have too much money into our cars Hagerty will insure them.

You must have another daily driver type vehicle registered into your name and the car must be garaged.

I already have my Nova insured with them, I am not sure if that helps or not.

The Nova has $45k agreed value and the Mustang has $55k agreed value. $2100 a year for both. That is less that what Progressive was charging my wife for the mustang alone.

That is 100/300 bodily injury.
Unisured motorist - dumb coverage
PIP is 10k

They do make you fill out a form with your previous High Performance Driving Experience. I just listed all my previous fast cars.

Has anyone used the JPC line lock kit? That is the only one I have found. Trying to use the factory line lock is a pain in the ass at the track and my wife is not comfortable doing the 2 foot method.

I was figuring on that and a steering wheel mounted momentary switch.

2 minor updates.

Took the car to the track, my higher boost settings are still not right. On 9.5lbs the car went 10.27@139. I am hopeful at 14lbs or so it should finally get into the single digits! I may put it on the dyno to get that sorted out and to see what #s it makes.

PBD also has an updated tune for boosted 10 speed cars. Hopefully it helps with shifting of my trans, it is horrible right now. I will find out in the next week or so.

What did it 60'? With a torque convertor, you would run 9's without more boost I bet.
