Thank you for going with that hood. One question I have is : Are you providing any provisions for attaching underhood insulation? Not a problem either way, just a question.

that's a great question.
In short, no. We're going for weight savings in addition to styling. The hood will be made with a foam core embedded into the carbon laminate schedule and a perimeter only frame that incorporates factory hinge and latch mounting provisions along with provisions for windshield washers. In this fashion we can keep weight down while maintaining structural integrity. IMO, and this may be just mine, the underhood insulation is simply a marginal noise barrier that adds weight. Most of the enthusiasts we cater to across all brands are not too concerned with a minor elevation in underhood noise. After all, people tend to add cold air intakes, free flowing exhausts, etc. that all contribute to elevated noise levels.... losing the hood insulation is not a concern in my mind.
