I do think it has a lot to do with the driver. For instance, i made at least 90 passes at the drag strip last season. But left easy every time.. And my car has held up very well for being all stock components except bolt on Roush phase 1 supercharger kit..

But on another hand i have a friend that street races only and has smoked a trans and two clutches on his whippled s550 w/supporting mods... More than likely driver error has played a big part, but at the end of the day, if you plan to daily 700hp, and forfeit warranty to do so. Be prepared for the worst in case it happens.. I'm glad i went with Roush phase1.. Def helps me sleep better at night knowing full coverage is still there!

I also am considering buying a SC but there are so many options. I've seen people talk about instant power (KB) vs. higher end power, but does that mean if I get the KB that any time I touch the gas I'm going to jolt, or only if I put my foot into it? My car is a DD and I only really want the SC to have the extra power for some fun little runs on the freeway, or to teach some random clown a lesson :). Also is the Roush the only system that maintains the dealer warranty? Thanks for any info.

Yeah Roush is going to be the only one that you can retain a real dealership warranty with! It doesn't make as much dyno numbers as some other setups, but it still performs exceptionally well! I've been in consistent 10's on street tires on my phase 1 Roush setup! Can't ask for much more then that out of a daily street car under factory warranty.

"nothing retains your factory warranty" 100%

even ford racing clearly states that ford racing is an "aftermarket part"

Ford does not warranty Roush supercharger systems. Roush warranties Roush systems via a $995 supplemental insurance.

Dealers may say its under warranty but that's not true. A dealer may sneak one through when there is an issue but its not under warranty, if Ford Motor Company knew an engine was replaced on there dime and it had a Roush SC phase 1, phase 2 or whatever there would be heads rolling.

Just drove my buddy's hellcat.. I was completely amazed that the power was so usable! First was bad, but second gear-on up-you could hammer it, and she just pulled!

I am running long tubes, no cats, Corsa sport, JLT intake, Lund NGauge, and E85 with FRPP 47 lb injectors. I got rid of the P-zeros a while ago, and am riding on S-04 pole position tires.

His tires were stock, but my car roasted the tires at the top of first, through second.

If I were sitting around 650 at the wheels, could I really use the power? How many of you guys who have power like that have driven a hellcat, and can compare for me?

Or you could just save me a bunch of money and tell me it's useless...

Just dial in what power you want, it's that simple.

Have never driven a Hellcat but with a base HO kit on 8 psi and headers I put a hurting on a auto from a dig and a roll with street tires. The guy and I were both suprised. He even asked me how much I paid for my kit haha.

If you care about the warranty, then Roush is the way to go. The others will let with wring out every last pony, if you are willing to eat the repairs out-of-pocket. For me, I knew I'd not sleep well unless I was covered, so the trade-off was an easy choice for me.

We have a 3/36,000 available for $495 and have more safety features built in then Roush. Your associating lower power with increased reliability yet they have the smallest injectors and no added safe guards past the standard ones. Good product yes, better, no way, adjustable features, we got them.

3yrs 36k miles full coverage? Or does your warranty only cover your parts? All I know is my phase1 setup is still covering my full power train warranty, and any Ford dealership will honor that and repair any item that would be covered under a standard new car warranty. No fussing... Roush/Ford are a team, and the phase 1 kit is marketed by both.. 2015's the first year they both put their names on the kit.. Other companies kits are rad and powerful. I just felt comfortable knowing my dealership still has me covered bumper to bumper with the Roush upgrade.. And they installed and tuned it right at a reputable ford dealership. Leaving me worry free.

Ok so basically from what I'm reading, it seems like a Centri blower is better for a DD than a Twin Screw one, simply for ease of driving and more power at higher RPM. Am I getting this right?

Actually its opposite . The twin screws give better than stock drivability plus whipple is 50 state CARB legal

I think the association of lower power is in reference to maintaining a bumper to bumper warranty.. I'm pretty sure every Ford dealership across the country will honor a warranty repair in the case of a mechanical breakdown if car is Roush phase1 calibrated. I doubt they would honor a warranty repair with a Whipple and outside tune... But if we are speaking about power on an outside tuned Roush TVS lets talk about Justin Pawlak car that just made almost 1000 hp with a Roush blower kit and a custom tuning!
