I have a 2016 f150 with heated seats. They heat up quick and are feel really good on sore muscles. I noticed that my seats don’t seam to get nearly as worm or as cool as I’d expect. Is this normal or just my situation. Ty all for your input.

It's normal. The Mustang S550 seats just were never great at heating or cooling.

Oddly enough, the seats in my wife's 2018 Ecoboost vert get a lot hotter than the seats in my 2019 gt. Like, uncomfortably hot.

My 2018 would melt themselves if I let them go too long. Cooling is eh, but most of the time, it's not about cooling - just an extra fan to blow the heat off your back.

Interesting... hers is a CPO 201a as well. Cooling is much better in mine than hers.

May be you wear thick pants lol so you can't feel the heat. Mine 2020 works just fine.

My 2018's seats get really hot, sometimes I have to turn them down. I notice they do warm up to a hotter temp when driving a bit harder or cruising instead or just idling I think. I put them on level 2 now usually since level 3 gets too hot after a bit.

My car is a 400a, which has different leather than 401a seats and I also dont have a steering wheel heater or anything. Maybe the 401a dont work as good?

The cooling isnt super noticeable but better than nothing.

I don’t know? The seats in my 19 seam to be about the same as the seats in my 15. I guess there could be some variation in temperature from seat to seat. But not enough for me to notice.

Are the seats in both your wife's vert and your GT covered in the same material?

Generally the heat works good but cooling is either nonexistent or weak, in earlier models. There was a TSB for a fix before redesign.. see the huge thread in the Issues section.

Mine would melt my supple buttocks if I left them on the high setting. I rarely use the cool function but when I do, it seems pretty decent.

My girls Ford Explorer seats makes you feel like you're being cooked. But I agree they for sure don't cool enough nor get hot enough.

Hers is an eco boost premium, mine's a GT premium, so I assume so, unless they used something else for the eb premium seats, or a different quality of leather?

My 2019 seats and wheel get hot as hell quick in this 35-40 degree weather.
