I want a set, but not for $189, I will hold out for a used set to come up for sale.
They are pricey, but if you want to sell your stock ones to cover some of the price, they dont seem so bad then.

Seems pretty typical for Roush. Take what the pair is probably worth, slap "Roush" on it, then double it lol

I don't remember which forum I saw this mentioned. A user who installed the Roush heat extractor vents mentioned that he removed them because the extra slots let in a lot more water and soaked the hood liner which began to smell each time it warmed up.

I was looking at where the water drains on my stock GT and it flows on the fuse box wires and over the air filter cleaner. While I like the look, it doesn't seem that much thought was put into where water would end up.

Many of these mods are for non-raining seasons and little car washing. To bad they didn't have mechanical doors that would shut once the engine cooled.

In a couple weeks I'll have cut a big hole in my hood and but a real vent in there. For each additional cubic foot of air you let escape through the hood you get an additional cubic foot of air through the heat exchanger and radiator and lower front end lift. You aren't going to do that with the puny hole Fords gives us.

every time i wash my car i stuff a rag in the hole on the under side of the hood, never had an issue with water.
both the roush and stock vents let water into the engine bay if it rains so i do not see this as a valid reason not to use them.
