I think the Roush heat extractors look good painted, but the upgrade isn't worth the money to me.

The Roush extractors look good, but I am not about to drill in the hood for them.

The ROUSH look great and YOU DO NOT need to drill. You can install them in no more then 20mins.
This is from CJ Pony Parts: "Please Note: ROUSH heat extractors are designed to fit the 2015 Mustang GT Hood and require minimal drilling and basic hand tools to install." The level of difficulty is listed as Moderate

Have you looked at the install manual? The only person that could do this in 20min is somebody who has done many of the installs.

You do not need to drill. It's mentioned in the instructions but the hole they have you drill is not necessary.

Well thats good news. I'm curious, your avatar says you drive a vette. Do you have a '15 Mustang GT that you have installed these on? If so, do I just undo the existing extrator and replace it with the Roush?

i own both a vette and a 15 mustang. yup, i installed these about a month ago. no drilling required. just follow all the steps in the instructions other then drilling the small hole and using the small screw. they stay in place just fine without it.

I want a set, but not for $189, I will hold out for a used set to come up for sale.
