Have a 2015 GT auto with Ford Racing sport cat-back, JLT intake and BAMA tune; cars runs great.

Will long tube headers give me a noticeable bump in power or is the benefit mostly sound?

I'm new to Mustang and still getting an education on what works.

if you go with catless headers you will get a noticeable hp gains. Id say a good 20hp or so. Also make sure you have a good exhaust guy that gets rid of any bottle necks in your system so its full 3" all the way back.

i dont think its as much as you think.you wont gain much torque at all maybe 10 rwhp. i dynoed 401 375 with jlt stainless works headers 3 1nch gibson catback 93 octane auto with 3.15 gears. with my gearing i feel the loss of lowend power. i mite go with 3.73s in the spring.

Im making 428/393 so idk what you're referring too about not making power? Putting my cat deletes on tonight then re running on the dyno. Fyi with my set up it will destroy my factory pirellis fron a 40 punch. Go headers and a great Lund tune. I will update y'all on the difference.

I'm definitely interested in knowing as well...I just picked up a GT PP a few weeks ago and I'm trying to make a plan. I'm going to do everything at once, so trying to figure out what to expect from the headers in addition to intake, exhaust, and tune.

Where did you go to get your car dynoed? I'd like to see what my roush setup would do.

Full ARH system with jlt intake and dyno tune. 440/404 tq was flat from 3600 to redline.
Power is all in the tune and long tubes

If you are in va you should go to rev auto in Baltimore. They are top shop for mustangs/fords in this country.

I have a PP with 3.73s put down those #s in 90degree heat with 125 IATs. Hoping to get better numbers with the deletes and an ambient in the 80s

I logged with Lund. Car runs excellent. Headers have been on 1,500 miles are are barely bronzing. Power in smooth and torque is linear. Great set up for roughly $2,800 in mods.
