as the title suggests--
Would Headers cause a catback with a little drone to drone more?
or do you think it would eliminate the drone all together?
I have slight drone with my MBRP race (its not bad) and am looking into headers and I don't want it to get worse. :clap2:

I just installed Kooks long tube headers with my MBRP race exhaust. I thought it was going to be more drone also, but was surprised that it is less. Still drone, but not as bad. I also thought the exhaust would be louder, but was surprised also that it is just as loud with headers as it was without. Go figure.........

do you have a video? how was the fitment? I was looking at the KOOKs. I guess the highflow cats quiet it down a bit then huh?
I wish I could go offroad. (the race is already a loud exhaust.)

No video yet. Raining here in Seattle. Will wait for some nice weather to make one. Kooks fitment was great. No issues. My first guess on less drone was less restriction, but who knows.

So, you bought the catted version? That does make a huge difference.

How did you connect to the catback? Is it a 3" connection? Got any pics?

Yes, have the catted version. It is factory connect on both sides. So it goes from 3 inch, down to 2 1/2 inch, back to 3. I am going to have the shop create a mini x pipe right there so it becomes a true 3 inch all the way. Let me see if I can find a pic.
